Why I made this

The busy season is coming. You know the one.

The diary fills from mid October. Every second message is someone who needs something "before the 20th". By the second week of December you are running on coffee, adrenaline and the hope that January will fix it.

I have run my clinic through nine of these seasons. The early ones nearly broke me, and not because I did not love the work. It was because I had no rules. I said yes to every squeeze-in, my personal phone was a 24-hour help desk, and I walked into every appointment already behind.

This kit is the set of rules, scripts and checks I use now. None of it asks you to care less. It is the practical stuff: what to put in your diary, what to say when someone pushes, and how to notice early when the season is winning.

Ten minutes now. Ten minutes every Sunday. That is the whole commitment.

Inside the kit

Five tools, three extras, nineteen pages.

Every page is something you fill in, print, or say out loud. Nothing to read twice and nothing to file away.

Tool 1

The Ten-Minute Energy Audit

Score the six drains from 1 to 5, add them up, and find the one that is running your December. Your biggest drain points you to your fix.

Tool 2

The Peak Season Diary Rules

My eight rules, ready to steal: buffer blocks, event cut-offs, the last date for new clients, the protected half-day, and what your personal phone is actually for.

Tool 2, continued

The Countdown to Christmas

Twelve weeks from 5 October, one line each. What goes in the diary, what you do for yourself, and a column for your own rule that week.

Tool 3

The Burnout Checklist

The early signs the way they actually show up for injectors: at work, at home and in your body. Tick honestly, then read what your ticks mean.

Tool 4

Five Word-for-Word Scripts

The squeeze-in, the top-up before Saturday, the after-hours auto-reply, the friend who wants a freebie, and the unhappy message you want to answer at 9pm.

Tool 5

The Sunday Reset

A nine-line checklist that keeps every other tool working once the season gets loud. Print it and keep it with the diary.

Extra

Twelve things your front desk can take

Hand them this page. Solo injector? It is the list for your VA, your booking system and your auto-replies.

Extra

The four-step bad-day come-down

What to do when a day flattens you, plus a "your people" box to fill in while things are calm.

"If you are stressed about this work, it means you care. The injectors who care the most are the ones most at risk of burning out, and they are exactly the ones this industry cannot afford to lose."Amy, page 2

A look inside

Real pages, ready to print.

A4, in your hand by the time the kettle boils. Circle the numbers, tick the boxes, keep the scripts at the desk.

Which of the six is running your December?

Before you plan the season, get honest about where your energy is actually going. The audit takes ten minutes and it is the first page you fill in.

A taste of Tool 4

When you are tired, you fall back on whatever you have practised.

If you have never practised saying no, the thing you fall back on is saying yes. Here are two of the five scripts, word for word.

Script 1 · The squeeze-in
"Can you fit me in before the 20th?"

I would love to, and I want your result to actually be ready for the 20th, which means treating you by the 6th so it has time to settle. I have Tuesday at two before then. If that does not work, let's book you for January and I will make sure you are first on the list.

Script 5 · The unhappy message
The one you want to answer at 9pm

Thank you so much for letting me know, and I am sorry it is not what you hoped for. I want to look at this properly rather than reply in a rush, so I am going to go through your notes and photos and come back to you tomorrow morning with what I can see and what we do next.

Plus the top-up before Saturday, the after-hours auto-reply, the friend who wants a freebie, and the 24-hour rule for reviews.
Who this is for

For the injector who cares, and is about to be very busy.

  • Nurse injectors heading into their first, or their ninth, busy season
  • Clinic owners who want rules written down before the diary fills, not after
  • Solo injectors whose personal phone has quietly become the clinic line
  • Anyone who finished last December running on empty and does not want to do it again

Practical, not consoling. It does not ask you to care less. It gives you the rules, the words and the check-ins so caring this much stays sustainable.

Amy Wright, RN

Cosmetic nurse · Clinic owner · Mentor

I'm Amy, registered nurse since 2009 and cosmetic injector for fifteen years. I built my clinic from a one-woman startup into a thriving team of twelve, and for the first five years we grew completely through word of mouth.

My purpose and mission is to be a support to other injectors on their journey, to create community not competition, and to raise the industry standard for our clients, our colleagues and our businesses.

Every line in this kit comes from my own busy seasons: the rules I wrote after the ones that nearly broke me, the scripts I say in the car, and the Sunday reset that keeps it all working. Community over competition. If it helps, send it to the injector who needs it.
